Guess what I've been playing :bball:

Fine well I’ll have this conversation with myself then! I’ve made it out of the vault but I’m not sure if I’m evil or not. I chose all the polite things to say to most people (except Butch, didn’t warn me about him did ya!) but I can’t help myself when it comes to killing people, I have slaughtered the overseer and every guard that I encountered along the way, needless to say that my best friend wasn’t happy about me killing her dad. I tried to talk her round but I think I ruined it when I tried to kill her to, she was rude! She didn’t die though just fell unconscious with a full clip emptied into her face.
So I then found the merchant outside Megatron (wish I’d picked up more crap back at the vault) bought a missile launcher and a laser pistol and attacked the bot outside the city. I needed the missile launcher to finish him off and found that I was being hunted by the population of the city ~~~~ dead! Try again, didn’t kill the bot just went into the city and met Jericho, spotted the gun he was carrying and thought I want one of those. This proved to be a mistake to, no sooner had I shot him in the face (which didn’t actually hurt him that much) I was under fire from several people that I hadn’t clocked when I first walked in ~~~~ dead! Took it a bit more discreetly next time and went to the bar to find Colin Moriarty, found out I needed to head back out of the city to the radio station so I thought I’d have a play in the city first, disarmed the bomb and assassinated the church leader, lots of people angry ~~~~ dead!

I left it there for the night, didn’t want to overdose on the first night and spoil the taste for the rest of the week. So are there any useful items/weapons lying around that I could utilise when I go back on tonight?

Firstly DON'T KILL ANYONE IN MEGATON JUST YET!!!!! You'll find yourself going back there quite a bit....... if you don't set off the nuclear warhead! Disarming the bomb will see the mayor/sheriff give you the keys to a house of your own in megaton. Also, you may want to take part in the wasteland research quest which Moira will give to you, but there are other ways to accept this quest.

To find out if you're evil or not use your "Pip Boy 3000" It will give you this information on the status screens.

You'll get all the weapons you need as you go through the game. There are a few "Special" variations to weapons, but these will be obtained later. Try to get hold of a Chinese assualt rifle as it's one of the best Machine guns in the game. Shotguns will also be useful but the ammo for it can often be difficult to come by.

Ooooooh! The Alien blaster can be found by picking up the Alien Radio signal. Once you get this signal look around for a crater with a crashed alien spaceship. Put your radiation suit on (If you have one) & approach the downed aircraft. The Alien Blaster will be sitting on the ground next to a dead alien & loads of power cells. Also, there is an Alien Blaster Rifle which is very good. For this, at some point during the game there will be an unexplained explosion. When it happens head for that point & keep your eyes peeled as the Alien Blaster rifle will be around somewhere (there is not a generic place where it appears). It's much easier to find at night as it glows blue (At least I think it's blue....)

Oh & DON'T drink the Nuka Cola Quantums! You'll want them later.....

Fallout Diary Day 2..................
I woke with the sun on my face, the wind had kicked up a lot of debris during the night and I was no longer so sure of the direction I had chosen

Sorry, don’t know where that came from. Soooooo when we left it yesterday I had just got to the city and got myself killed a couple of times, last night didn’t see me getting much further. I disarmed the bomb and got my 100 caps and a house in the city, then I went to the saloon and hacked into their computer for my info, I had a chat with Colin and Gob afterwards but they didn’t tell me anything I hadn’t already got from the computer, I had to get to the radio station. So I set out from the city (gave an old guy my purified water) and tried to get across the wastes to the radio station. Remember I have a laser pistol, missile launcher, switchblade and baseball bat. I can get almost as far as the station but everytime I meet someone I end up in a scrap and mostly end up dead!! I have now learned to save more regularly than the autosave but after a whole evening I am still just leaving megaton! This could be a long game methinks

A very long game indeed my friend!

You'll need to head East from Megaton to get to the radio station, although I wouldn't advise this course of action just yet as you'll certainly perish at the hands of the Super Mutant Behemoth!

You could always head West - North-West with the letter the girl gives you in Moriaty's Saloon.........

Or maybe the south Eastern corner of the map might be interesting.......

What letter? I didn’t speak to a girl in the saloon! Thanks for the tip I’ll do that tonight.

Look for Lucy West. It could lead to those blood packs giving 20 health points istead of 1..... Oh & the "ShishKebab".....

WAIT!!! I was think of the "Ripper" which is like a mini chainsaw (Or the special Variation called "Jack" ). The ShishKebab has flames & is more like a Sword on Fire. Still AWESOME though! Can't wait for the 16th!!!

To get the Shishkebab Schematics you have to complete Lucy West's quest.......

I've now learnt to just save before I try and kill someone, that way I can decide whether it was a good idea afterwards whilst feeding my bloodlust

With some you won't know that is was a bad idea until later in the game.......
