That's what I did my first run through too!!!! Sent Lyons in there! Let her deal with it!! For future, sending either Fawkes or Charon in there will be better for ya. Radiation doesn't affect them in the same way........
Let me know if the cash thing works for you. I can only confirm that it works on PS3.......

I didn't know I could send Charon in there! I may have to go and trade my copy in for GOTY edition if you can carry on. I was a bit upset that it ended there, I had loads I wanted to do still
Re: Fallout 3........
That's why I said wait for the GOYT. I'm getting it on Friday & saying goodbye to the outside world for a few weeks at least! Bigger weapons, Harder enemies, Oooh what fun I'll have!

Borderlands:
Like traditional RPGs, much of the player's time will be taken up by quests. There will be 160 quests of varying length and complexity, 30 of these being part of the story and the other 130 as side quests. Many of these quests will not be mutually exclusive, and can be completed together. Each quest carries its own rewards, such as new weapons, or perhaps revealing a new piece of the story. After beating the game, a second play through is available, with the same character statistics but with harder enemies. The same quests are available, but with better rewards

Re: Fallout 3........
Borderlands features four player online "drop-in, drop-out" cooperative play along with other single-player and multiplayer modes, and a very large amount of weapons. Players can choose from four different playable characters who each have their own unique abilities and skill trees. In addition, players may have access to customizable vehicles for "vehicular combat" and will also be able to customize their pre-selected character. Deceased enemies will drop some equipment, which is then available for players to pick up.

Sounds so good that I made up my mind just from seeing a couple of screen shots! I wonder if they'll do cross console multiplayer......

Re: Fallout 3........
Whenever it happens and whatever the game is, you and me are getting it when it's released. I need to see your skills first hand
Just read this about it:
The game will also have a feature similar to the Diablo random level generation system, a "Procedural Content Creation System", which will influence the weaponry seen in-game, as well as the in-game world and various enemy creatures.[7] In a preview of Borderlands, MTV Multiplayer claimed to have seen the debug menu for the game. According to them, the Debug menu listed the total number of weapons in the game as 3,166,880, although this is now thought to be more around 17,750,000.[8][9]
As for the game world, Borderlands features a system that randomly instances the surrounding landscape, with randomly placed things such as bunkers, towers, caves, enemies, and exploding cacti. All of this is done without a loading screen. Gearbox claims that the player will not see a loading screen after they boot up the game. Core areas, such as towns, will remain the same throughout the game, as will the general paths that connect town to town.[4]
During E3 2009, it was revealed that enemy creatures in the game would be able to alternate how they attack players. One example shown was a spider like creature that leaped around and would jump onto players' faces, while another variant rolled up into a ball and attacked people
OMG!!!!!!!

Re: Fallout 3........
How can you cope with both of those of games at the same time?? I’d have to quit my job to have enough time for it all!
What did you think of Army of Two? I found it quite a let down

Re: Fallout 3........
I'm using up some annual leave........ It has to be done!!! Totally cleared my calander for a few weeks as well & I don't think I'm gonna be sleeping much......
There's only one way to describe Army of Two:
A big pile of steaming, smelly, waste of time, can't believe someone got paid to make that, runny double barrelled CRAP!!!

Re: Fallout 3........
That was my contention! It promised a lot and delivered bad graphics and stagnant gameplay. I did love the suicide bombers though, how un PC can you get
Re: Fallout 3........
Well, that was funny, but the game itself was a massive let down in every way imaginable. I feel ashamed that I paid good money for that......

Re: Fallout 3........
I didn't even complete it I don't think, I was really excited by it and got my mate round to play coop before I'd tried it myself. Needless to say I was a little embarrassed once we got into it.
Re: Fallout 3........
A little embarrased?? It's the only game I regret subjecting my Playstation to! I did the same thing. Got all excited about 2 player co-op, got someone round to play & ended up going back to Resident Evil & Street Fighter. Total waste of Money.
