Is there anything in the GOTYE that I wont get by downloading the extra missions?

The GOTYE is just the full game with the extra's included (Broken Steel, The Pitt, Op Anchorage, Mothership Zeta & Point Lookout) so no, there's nothing you will be missing out on. Not sure about x-box, but they're £7.99 per download on PS3..... affraid

Seems to have it's plus points & the Elite is set below £200 at the moment. But I'm not sure if I can pry myself away from sony & I've been offered a deal for the PS3 250GB slim

They are 800 points a piece on Xbox but you can only buy points in 500 or 1000 bundles so I have loads left on my account from previous scam artist downloads. Was tempted to hit broken steel tonight that's all Very Happy

Did either of you two fine gentlemen find an effective technique for killing the Deathclaw? I found that the Alien Blaster was perfect for the job, two shots to the head and he dropped like a cheerleader in the shower

Yeah, but the downside to that technique is that there are very limited amounts of alien power cells (Until mothership zeta) & an unlimited amount of deathclaws & tougher enemies......

The plasma rifle takes them down pretty well if the shots make contact properly

Indeed there are!

Quick tip. Drop off anything you don't need at your house before doing any of the new quests. You'll want to travel light becuase there's plenty to pick up, especially when doing mothership zeta

Standard procedure for me before doing any missions these days, I only ever take stimpacks armour and three guns. I like to change my starting weapons to give myself a challenge, I walked into Vault 106 with a switchblade, missile launcher and Ol' Painless Laughing

It makes you change the way you normally fight and adds a bit of spice to things I reckon.
