FangBook X7

CyberPower Systems (www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk) has unveiled its latest notebook, the FangBook X7 gaming laptop. This system features a mobile Intel Ivy Bridge processor, Nvidia GTX 600-series graphics card and a Full HD screen. CyberPowerPC has opted for Intel's HM77 Express chipset, as well as Microsoft's Windows ( 7/8 ) operating system.



The FangBook will be released in three variants, the X7-100, X7-200 and X7-300, as listed on the website. The price for these machines starts at £1185(inc VAT) but increases quite rapidly. For instance, the laptops can be fitted with Intel's Core i7-3840QM, at an extra cost of £225. If you need even more power, you could opt for the Core i7-3940XM Extreme Edition (£608). The 17.3-inch screen has an LED-backlight and Full HD resolution. It has a non-glare finish and an integrated 720p webcam.



The notebook comes with 8 GB (X7-100) or 16 GB (X7-200 & 300) Corsair Vengeance memory, with a choice of Nvidia's 4 GB GTX 675MX or the 4GB GTX 680M providing the system's graphics. A slow spin (5400rpm) 500GB Mechanical Hard Drive is present in the entry level model (X7-100) as standard & a 64 GB SATA 6 Gbit/s SSD is present, accompanied by a 750 GB fast spin (7200rpm) Mechanical hard drive as standard in the 2 high spec models (X7-200 & X7-300). Optionally, the notebooks can be fitted with two Intel 525 480 GB SSDs in an Ultra RAID configuration, which allows for speeds of up to 900 MB/s, or any other configuration of Single/Dual Drives.

Naturally, features such as 80.211 b/g/n WiFi, Optimus technology, a Blu-ray combo drive or DVD-burner, HDMI, USB 3.0 and stereo speakers are present on the system.
