I've thought about it a great deal. Of course I had reservations....anyone in their right mind would have reservations. I mean, I'm not totally crazy even if you think what I'm about to do is.

This certainly hasn't been a decision I've come to lightly. I've spoken to friends, relatives, and so on. In between the sobs of fear they understand that sometimes a man just has to do what a man has to do and they wish me well....even if I DO never return.

lol I think it might make the game a little more immersive. Reading the instructions if played on hardcore the combat difficulty won't be any harder; it's just the game that's made more realistic :)

You need to eat, sleep etc and you can't fast travel. Gonna be interesting....lol

There is supposed to be some kind of bonus for getting through in hardcore mode I salute you El, not sure if I'm ready to go there just yet but I salute you all the same sir.

I think there's some kind of achievement you can only get if you play it right from the start all the way through to the end in hardcore without ever switching it off There's a little paragraph in the instructions about it.

We're all Fallout veterans here. Normal mode is for pansies lol
