I'm saying that going through puberty naturally alters not just the body but also the mind. Boys hate girls & vice versa before the onset of puberty. Afterwards it's a whole different ball game.........

I just think that we should wait until after this important period in anyones life.

No it's not, but it plays a massive role. As I said many children hate the opposite sex before puberty. Does this mean that they are possibly homosexual? Does it mean that they will always hate the opposite sex? Does it mean they are possibly hard line feminists? No, it means none of the above.

Ones mindset about their gender is not totally reliant on puberty & if one goes through puberty & still feels the same then by all means go ahead with gender reassignment treatment.
The facts are however that the majority feel differently after puberty. As this is the case then they should be afforded the chance to go through puberty & see if they feel differently or not.

As I've said & as many experts in the field have agreed a lot of children feel differently about themselves & their gender after puberty. One may hate their penis at age 8 & want a vagina, but by age 16 the only vagina they want is one to dip their penis in.........

Our feelings, thoughts, emotions, minds & bodies are altered with puberty. It's not just about growing hair, having wet dreams, growing breasts, starting periods etc, it's about changing from child to adult. It's totally safe to wait until after puberty & in many cases is recommended.

Childlike dislike of the opposite sex is just as important as childlike feelings about oneself.......... Both are childlike feelings afterall.....

A child is rarely comfortable with their private body parts. This opinion of themselves often changes with puberty.

I'm going off of knowing children & the reports of experts. As LP's post from Wiki says, many children diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria no longer "suffer" (For want of a better word) with this "condition" after puberty. As such it would be wisest to wait until after this period so that all involved are sure that this is what is wanted.

They're covering this on the Wright stuff at the moment, apparently 80% of children who want a sex change change their minds by the end of puberty.

80% is a massive number. That is not by any stretch of the imagination a small proportion. That's the vast majority & shows that puberty changes both the body & mind.

There is no way that drugs to block the onset of puberty should be allowed. All children should go through their natural puberty first & then if they want sex changes they should be allowed to go for it........ As long as they can afford it....

It's against the law to buy cigarettes under 18 but perfectly legal to smoke
It's against the Law to buy or drink alcohol on a licensed premises if you're under 15 & have no adult supervision (Dependent on the license type which was issued), but it's legal to drink alcohol from the age of 5 as long as you are not on licensed premises.
It's against the law to buy or poses fireworks in public under 18.

But it's fine to give an 11 year old drugs to stop their natural puberty & then give them more drugs to mimic the puberty that they would prefer. Even though this will mean that they are infertile....

Oh, and they are not mature enough to engage in sexual activity until near the end of puberty, but somehow mature enough to decide what sex they should've been......

The parents don't just want shooting. They should be drawn, hung & quartered.......

How can you oversimplify the Fact that at least 80% of children who want sex changes no longer want it once they have gone through puberty?

To cater to their whims before puberty could end up really screwing up their lives. 100 children say they want sex changes. You apply this before puberty (Including making them infertile which is irreversible). 80 of those children will feel they have made a massive mistake, but 20 might be happy.

Also, anything up to 18% of adult post op transsexuals regret changing gender.... so of those 20, 2 will regret the decision they made. 82 unhappy..... 18 happy.....

Do it the other way & wait until after puberty and you'll find that 80 of those children are happy that they waited. 20 of those children will be unhappy that they waited, but can now have what they wanted without it screwing up their lives. of those 20 a maximum of 2 will be unhappy.

98 happy 2 unhappy..... 98% success rate of happiness

How can any person deny this simple logic? I think it's people overcomplicating things which has lead to this craziness.
