It seems a bit insensitive to me, I agree that it would be interesting to read his thoughts from around the time of the investigation but if we allow profit to be made by his crimes then aren't we condoning his actions?

There’s a very important distinction here though Ty, to release them for viewing by the general public is one thing. This would give us an insight to the mind of a serial killer that may help deal with similar problems in the future. To SELL them we aren’t saying that they if it’s ok to make a profit from his actions then it was ok for him to have done it.

You’re probably right but I think the idea of profiting from such events is a little hard to stomach. Although if I was in possession of those letters then what would I do? I really don’t know
