Right, I promised a review and here it is.

As I was playing this with someone who had completed the story mode I didn’t get the chance to try that bit out very much, all the bad guys were already dead so I just had a look around the map. Nicely detailed environment with lots of things to climb on and swing from etc but not as free as I would have liked. That is to say that you could only grapple certain objects, you couldn’t just bomb around like you would in Assasins’ Creed or GTA but it was still good fun.

The challenges were where I spent my evening, simple concept you start in a room surrounded by henchmen and you have to kill them in the coolest way you can. The trick is to get all of them dead in one long combo and it was bloody good fun trying to. There are also stealth challenges where you have a room to sneak around in with the objective being kill them all without being seen. Tricky but with a bit of practice you could swoop around firing batamarangs and hanging people from the ceiling before too long.

All in all I thought is was great fun but I wouldn’t buy a copy, my friend had completed the story mode in less than 24 hours and to me that just isn’t good enough value to spend £40-£50 on. However I will be borrowing it when he finishes all the challenges so I may have more to say on the subject then. Very Happy

Batman off the shopping list.

Replaced by Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires!

Ooo, score out of 10?

Hmmm I would have to give it an 7

Would have got more with a little more freedom in the map, a longer story mode and some online content.

7? That's quite respectable. I'll wait until after Christmas when it should fall dramatically in price.

Well I enjoyed playing it but I just can't justify the expense for a game that I would have nailed within a week. Why they didn't put a multiplayer mode in is beyond me scratch

I know! What were they thinking? Rolling Eyes

Right your turn. Full review on Fallout 3, I'm tempted but I need more info. Start a new thread for it though we could end up with a decent review section if we keep this up.

Okay, I'll have to put that up tonight though. Could take a while to write one.
