Assassins Creed 2
Review to follow once I have completed it but my initial thoughts are that this look like another kick arse title. Bear with me though, I don't have as much time for gaming as I used to
Re: Assassins Creed 2
I just spent the last 20 minutes writing my thoughts on this game only to accidentally close the window instead of posting it
Let me summarise for you:
Story - Piss weak, can't even really remember the details
Graphics - Wicked, lifelike, accurate to the locations ( i have been to Florence and they have done a great job recreating it)
Gameplay - fun, addictive, easy to use
Fighting system - Easy to pick up, fun to watch, repetitive after a while though
I will now open the floor to questions, can't believe I deleted my review

They've added new weapons but you probably wont really use them, except out of interest. You get an actual base of operations this time, you can invest money in your town and it will start to earn money for you. You can buy better armour, smoke bombs, poisoned blades, new clothes. You can carry medicine and purchase art (to increase the value of your villa) and a couple of other things. d
Funny thing is that it was so long ago that the first one was out, I just haven't registered any differences. I know they're there but I haven't stopped and thought "Oh that's much better that the last game" Most of the difference I just mentioned I could only say because I just read Gamespots review

Have a read of this, I'm probably not doing the game justice. I enjoyed it but I didn't come away thinking "what a game!" So I guess I'm overlooking some of the more impressive points of the game.

I know what you mean Kitt, I really liked it for the first hour or so but it didn't do enough after that to keep me excited.
Re: Assassins Creed 2
I think that's what they were trying to do with the second title but the things they added to weren't the things that make the game more playable
Re: Assassins Creed 2
I'm pretty much the same. Wasn't overly impressed with the original Assassins Creed & got bored of it rather quickly. The differences between the 2 aren't really solid enough for me. It's seems to be much the same game with a base of operations & a money making aspect to it.
Just gimme a blade & a few other weapons & pack the place with enemies & puzzles. That's all a good game takesa for me. Think I'll give this title a miss....
