Manchester Derby

Post by Bones on 20th January 2010, 11:01 am

Well, Last night was the first leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final between Manchester United & Manchester City played at Eastlands (City’s Home ground).

It was a cracking game which United Dominated but still managed to come away with a 2-1 deficit after some very dodgy refereeing decisions.

Who do you think will ultimately win this contest? Will City be able to hold out in the return leg at Old Trafford or will United crush their local rivals?

all depends, i think on citys attitude if they sit back like last night
then they have had it.
they need to go on the attack
both teams seem a bit leak in the defending dept.

Tevez is a hard worker & never stops running, but I don't think at the time he was worth an additional £25million on top of the £6million already paid. If it was £25million total then they'd be silly not to have taken him.

I don't think they miss him too much. United have had many quality players through the door & Tev never scored enough whilst he was there to be considered "Missed" imo.
