Britains Got Talent?
did anyone watch it this year? I was quite enjoying having the idea of having Michael Mccintyre judging till I saw the watered down public face he was portraying! What happened to the witty funnyman we all wanted, every joke he cracked went down like a grandad at a wedding!
My biggest gripe with it though is a simple one and it comes from this phrase "I like it but I can't see how you can progress it" what the fuck are they talking about? Isn't it a talent show? So why is it that the acts are forced to either repeat their performance at the scorn of the judges or try something new and be told you should have stuck to what you do best!! A talent is a talent and a talent show should be looking for the best talent but they're so caught up in making a dramatic Tv show that they have convinced themselves and even us that an act needs to keep being better than it's last performance or it isn't very good. The dancer guy Razy was phenominally impressive but used all his moves up in the audition and because of this constant waffle about progressing I found myself not being impressed with him when I saw him again.
Anyway, not a bad winner but I've got a bit bored of all these singers ending up in it when there are countless singing competitions going on alongside this talent show.
Nice idea but badly delivered I thought.

Good point, they've had their day now, they are far too transparent and it makes a mockery of the British Public
