Medal of Honour Empty Medal of Honour

Post by El_Guapo 23rd August 2010, 6:41 pm

Electronic Arts are coming under fire (excuse the pun lol) over their hotly anticipated new instalment of the Medal of Honour franchise.

In this highly realistic game players are sent to an imaginary conflict in Afghanistan where they play the part of either a British or Taliban soldier.

Government ministers have slammed the game and called for a ban on the grounds of it being insensitive to the grieving families of dead soldiers currently fighting in the Middle East.

Electronic Arts have defended their position saying that the game aims to simulate any real life conflict in which there are always two sides.

What do you think? Should the game be banned? Is it right to use current events such as this as a means of "entertainment"?

Below is a clip of the game so you can see what all the fuss is about. Note the very high level of detail and realism.
