Hmmm....... If a film doesn't grab me after 30 minutes I generally give up all hope on it. I've got both of them at home but not sure I want to give that much of my life to either of these films....

Books I get, but films need to have some oompfh! Saying that I sat through all of "Paranormal Activity". I had to. I couldn't believe a film was capable of being that pants, but I was wrong

Re: Twighlight and New moon
You enjoyed Paranormal Activity How is that possible? How could you possibly get any enjoyment at all from that utter load of warm runny crap!???
Lock, Stock was cool. I understood it perfectly..... After the third time. Matrix is awesome!! Until the last 15 minutes of the third one..... Kinda let the series down with that.....
Snatch is a good film. I did enjoy that. Same with Football Factory & Green Street. Haven't been able to sit through more than 5 minutes of Green Street 2 though.....

Re: Twighlight and New moon
Matrix was bollocks??? This coming from the woman who thinks Paranormal Activity is "Good" Footsteps in the Flower was the best bit?? Doesn't really say much for the film huh?
District 9 looks good. Can't wait to see that. I wanna go see Clash of the Titans & Iron Man 2!

Re: Twighlight and New moon
If it makes you feel better the part of Neo was intended to be played by Will Smith but he turned it down........
I Adore Marvel! Except for "Hulk" (The first one) that was really poor & painful to watch. When I was younger I used to love Jason & the Argonaughts!

Re: Twighlight and New moon
Didn't see the remake as I thought it might well be pants. Watched the original the oter day and the special effects made me laugh, but they were good in them days!
The only reason Will Smith turned it down was becasue it relied too heavily on special effects. I still think it's a great film & there's no one who can make me think different
Blade is a great trilogy! Not sure how hot Stephen Dorff is as Frost, but Jessica Biel is SMOKING as Whistlers Daughter

Re: Twighlight and New moon
Oh come on! Even if you hate Keanu & despise the film, you've got to admit that some of the special effects (Particulaly in the first one) were top notch. Even more so when you consider that the first one had a very small budget.
Yeah! Blade is the way forward! There are rumours of a 4th one in the making......

Re: Twighlight and New moon
If Stalone can still make Rocky films then I'm sure they'll stick with Snipes for Blade. Back to topic for a second though, I watched both of the teeny love films dressed up as vampire films and I was bored senseless. The whole way through you were waiting for something to happen but it was just pained looks and teenage anxt. It was Dawsons Creek all over again but this time I stayed with it in the hope that the special effects made up for it, they were good but not good enough to distract from a boring film performed by boring actors.
Re: Twighlight and New moon
Ouch!
Take it you didn't like the film then?

Re: Twighlight and New moon
Agreed! 3rd one was a little bit poo compared to the others.
Vampire films should be gritty & scary. Not poncey lovey dovey makes me wanna puke chick flick smoochiness
Underworld
Blade
Dracula
30 Days of Night
Hell, even Interview with a Vampire
And Vampire in Brooklyn
Twilight just seems........ Well, not Vampireish

Re: Twighlight and New moon
Probably does, but I bet it's tarnished with all the overly lovey dovey soppy mushiness
I thought Interview with a vampire was pretty cool. Not sure about Tom Cruise though........
I haven't seen Van Helsing yet. Any good? I quite liked 30 Days of Night too. Not the best film in the world but just about watchable. Only a few times though
