Oooh Ronnie vs Messi is a close one in my opinion. Both very talented, both very quick, Both very very good. Ronaldo has the upper hand with Dead Ball situations, Strength & Vision. Messi has the upper hand with Pace, Trickery & making space.

Falling over & conning the ref was something he did in his first 3 seasons. After that he didn't do it so much & teams would target him, which is why he then spent so much time in the gym beefing himself up. The only way some defenders could stop Ronaldo was to foul him which is what happened......
Yes, United are a better team without him, but it's the same as United were a better team without Cantona. United play better when everything doesn't go through one man which was the case with both Cantona & Ronaldo.
42 goals from 60 apperences in one season is nothing to be sniffed at. Torres hasn't achieved that for Liverpool & he IS thier main striker so it can't be that easy if aruguably one of the best strikers in the game can't match it........ Also deadball situations are not that easy and Ronaldo has scored many blistering goals from open play. I can think of a certain Porto game...... And if Deadball situations were that easy then Gerrard & Torres should have more goals between them than they do.......

Don't hate a great. Messi is undoubtedly a great player, but Ronaldo is also undoubtedly a great player. I don't think people in the business would've advised shelling out £80 million if he was just a con artist & dead ball specialist. Afterall, Beckham only went for £25 million & he wasn't much more than a deadball artist........

What!!!?? Every player who gets subbed sulks. No player wants to get subbed & if the player doesn't sulk he clearly doesn't want to play enough. Managers WANT their players to sulk f they get subbed. Look at Gerrard’s face the other day when Torres got subbed. Showing real respect for the manager there Players do it all the time.

As for being greedy, yes, if you want to be a goalscorer you need to be selfish. It's the first rule of scoring goals. Heskey is the most Unselfish player I have ever seen & his pathetic Goals record proves that fact. Every striker is Selfish & I've seen plenty games where Torres should played a pass but shot. If you want to score & win you take your chances, not pass to your oaf of a teammate who can't hit a barn door with a banjo. You do that once you're 4 - 0 up with 10 minutes to play. That's when you pass to the donkey with the lead boots, otherwise you hit that ball because you know & everyone else knows that you're better at putting them away.

Yes, the ball seems to stick to Messi's feet. It was seriously magical stuff last night & left me & my mates truly mesmerised at what we were witnessing. However, did you see Messi's dive (twice) last night? Did you see the Barca players who fell over the minute they were touched? Did you see the Arsenal players who did the same? Did you see Torres try to con a penalty out of the ref at Old Trafford? It's the modern game. Player comes near you at the wrong time & down you go if the other option is better. I've watched many a game & thought "If he'd gone down that would've been a penalty or free kick". I've watched many a game & thought "if he'd stayed on his feet he would've score." Doesn't matter the team or players, they're all at it.

Facts are Ronaldo is a fantastic player & I'm sure any team would love to have him in the team. Personal opinion on him and his attitude will always be divided, but he is a great player & deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Messi......

Not last season, the season before. I'd call that rather recent He's had 3 very good seasons which is why Real paid £80 Million for him. And he's having a pretty good season this season to boot.......

Ronaldo did that on one occassion. I've seen Beckham do it, Rooney's done it, Fowler's done it. NO player likes being subbed for any reason. They love the game & want to play all 90 minutes of every game of every season. You want that caring from a player, the emotion, the not wanting to come off. It's all part & parcel of the game, especially if the game is not going your way.......... Ronaldo has got on with the game many times after things haven't gone his way.

Many players, especially the greats, go down much more than they should, Drogba, Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho to name a few & we won't even get into Rivaldo's performance at a certain World Cup.... If his goals mainly came from penalties & free kicks then you'd have a point, but you don't score 31 goals from open play as a winger whilst sitting on your backside for most of the game. He's famous because he can score from almost anywhere on the pitch, hits a mean freekick & bamboozled premiership defenders. Yes he had his tantrums, but so does Rooney when things don't go his way. Yes, he spat his dummy out of the pram, but so does Rooney when things don't go his way. So did Torres at Old Trafford when things didn't go his way, in fact, I thought Torres was gonna get sent off at Old Trafford due to his tantrums & dummy spitting. The best players have massive confidence and with that comes a massive ego. Some play up to it, others play it down

Well I didn't see that coming. I thought Inter might nick it 1-0 maybe 2-1, but winning by 2 clear goals Barca have a lot of work to do & it won't be as easy as it was against Arsenal........

I think in the second leg Jose will set his stall out for a draw (As he started last night apparently) & tell his players to hit on the counter. Barca HAVE to attack which will leave spaces to be exploited. Barca won't walk it, even at the Nou Camp & with all their top players available they are going to struggle to win this tie. Inter have proven to be a very good team under Jose & Jose himself has proven to be an astute tactician and a Damn fine manager.

I'd say 2-1 Barca, but that won't be enough..........

The special one is off to spain after Italy. Trust me, he wants all three major league titles. He won't go anywhere near Anfield

I've got to admit, it wasn't the most exciting of games, but then Champions League games which don't involve Barcelona (And more importantly a certain lil Argie) are rarely all that exciting.

It's difficult to believe that the game had 2 red cards yet was still kinda dull, but that's exactly what it was. The goal wasn't bad though........

I'm amazed that's the final. I was expecting Manchester United Vs Barcelona or Manchester United vs Inter. Bayern (Cheating W*****s ) were not even in my thoughts to get this far.......

I'll be wearing my Inter Shirt for that one!
